[Pieces of My Life]

Welcome September.

Hello September, the messenger of golden Autumn!
O September, with soft touches and long fingers,
Caressing the treetops and everything that you lay your eyes upon.

Welcome September, proud and bold, and rightly so,
For you are the last light-bearer, before the world
Falls into a silvery, sweet slumber, cradled by the icy breaths
Of the last Queen, the fairest child of Nature.

[Pieces of My Life]

Graphic image of a rainbow with fluffy clouds at the ends.

Dip a flower in monochrome.

Swipe out a finger of paint from the rainbow.

Throw glitters in the air and turn off the lights.

Light a candle and suffocate it.

What happened? Sounds bleak? I guess so. I know they do.

You probably won’t do any of these because they mar the good things, the joyous things, the things that make life “Life”.

Then why would you let anyone or yourself to do all of these and even more to your soul, to your heart and to your spirit?

We are all bundles of imperfection that are perfectly moulded into many beautiful pieces of the Universe.

Love yourself. Love everything that makes you “You”— all the pearly curves and the rocky edges — everything.

[Pieces of My Life]

I don’t carry baggage. No, I don’t.

Because whatever I carry with me is a part of me, not my baggage that I have to drag along, wary of whether they would last with me till the end or would get exhausted of the journey and of the company. I do not have to be wary of my baggage getting lost or stolen from me because what I bring along isn’t any baggage; they are a part of me.

Whatever is lost was baggage. Whatever left me was baggage. And it was the emptiness that they left behind, and the fact that they never came back and never will, are what made me realise that they were never a part of me.

They were simply some well-loved baggage.

Yes, I don’t like carrying baggage.
